Azmin revealed that he was miserable in the PH government

AMPANG: Perikatan Nasional (PN) head of information, Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali tonight claimed that he was miserable as long as he was under the umbrella of Pakatan Harapan (PH) when governing the government after defeating Barisan Nasional (BN) in the 14th General Election (GE14). .

He, who is also a candidate for the 15th Gombak general election, also said that he had been verbally reprimanded several times in many meetings, including in the Cabinet.

In fact, he once wrote to the then Prime Minister, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad to act appropriately against PH ministers who are arrogant and often act to hurt the hearts of Bumiputera and Malays.

Mohamed Azmin at the same time accused PH’s action of changing eight chief secretaries and blocking aid that should be given to Malays such as business capital aid through the Bumiputera Agenda Leadership Unit (Teraju).

“This is not crazy, this is ignorant! In the 10th Malaysia Plan (RMK10) there was an allocation of RM2 billion for Teraju but then Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng stopped the allocation. Destroyed the hopes of Malay traders.

“I met Guan Eng on 14 September 2019, I asked Teraju for RM400 million because that amount could help 10,00 bumiputeras and 200 companies at least but he said no. I also wrote to Dr. Mahathir asked to rebuke the Finance Minister’s actions because what is a right should not be underestimated.

“Unfortunately, during the presentation of the Budget, Teraju was supposed to receive RM400 million but it was given empty,” he said when delivering a speech as a sign of support for the Ampang parliamentary candidate, Shasha Lyna Abdul Latiff at the Ukay Perdana night market site here.

On this night as well, Mohamed Azmin also claimed that Guan Eng wrote a letter to Dr. Mahathir to close the operation of Ekuiti Nasional Berhad (Ekuinas) because he wanted to bring money from the agency to the Ministry of Finance.

“Dr. Mahathir agreed. I had to rush to talk to Dr. Mahathir and asked why Ekuinas closed.

“Dr. Mahathir replied, “yes? Oh I just found out.

“I told Dr. Mahathir “please, how do I want to deal with Malays and Bumiputeras who need business capital?”

“Finally he agreed and asked Guan Eng to withdraw the day before the Budget presentation. I was able to save Ekunias. So, do I have to sit in PH again after what they did?,” he said. – MESSENGER
