KUALA LUMPUR – [DIKEMAS KINI] BN will seek permission to postpone the meeting with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Al-Sultan Abdullah Riayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah which was scheduled for 10.30am on Wednesday.
MCA secretary-general, Datuk Chong Sin Woon said, BN is also sticking to its previous stance of not supporting Pakatan Harapan (PH) or Perikatan Nasional (PN) to form the government.
“We maintain the decision this morning (Tuesday) not to favor anyone.
“So, it is up to the BN Chairman (Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi) to inform you,” he told reporters at the UMNO headquarters on Tuesday.
The Yang di-Pertuan Agong previously ordered 30 BN Dewan Rakyat members to appear individually at 10.30 am at Istana Negara on Wednesday morning.

According to the Royal Bijaya Manager, Datuk Seri Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin, the meeting was a continuation of the meeting with the leader of the PH coalition, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and PN, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at 4.30pm on Tuesday.
Sin Woon at the same time added that there was no statutory declaration (SD) signed by the 30 BN members of Parliament.
Meanwhile, the Deputy President of Parti Bersatu Rakyat Sabah (PBRS), Datuk Arthur Joseph Kurup also informed that the application has been sent to Istana Negara tonight.
He said, several matters are still being examined before any decision on support for the 10th Prime Minister candidate.
“We will make a decision after consultation, but some matters are still pending (regarding the support of the 10th Prime Minister candidate),” he said.
