GE15: BN won big in the Rembau Parliament

Mohamad won big in the Rembau Parliament.

REMBAU – BN won big in the Rembau parliamentary seat with a majority of 19,897 votes through its candidate, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Mohamad or Tok Mat succeeded in defeating Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Mohd Nazree Mohd Yunus (21,875 votes), Ramly Awalludin from Pejuang (529 votes) and S Tinagaran from Parti Sosialis Malaysia (779 votes).

The results were announced by the Election Management Officer, Mohamad Najib Mustafa at the official vote tallying center at Dewan Sri Rembau here.

Rembau Parliament was previously a traditional BN seat which was won by Health Minister Khairy Jamaludin Abu Bakar in GE14.

Mohamad, who is also the Deputy Chairman of BN, has an excellent performance record while serving as Menteri Besar of Negeri Sembilan for four terms since 2004.

In addition, he has extensive experience in the business field, including as a member of the Board of Directors of Sepang International Circuit and a member of the Board of Directors of Khazanah Nasional Berhad.
