PORT DICKSON – With less than 24 hours left in the campaign period, the BN candidate for Port Dickson Parliament, Datuk P Kamalanthan announced his offer to voters in the area if given a mandate known as Port Dickson Prosperity Planning.
The offer covers five cores related to youth, women, education, economy and development with 29 details.
According to Kamalanthan, his party did not promise the people the moon and stars but instead believed that the undertaking would be implemented.
“I framed this offer based on the information my team gathered from more than 30,000 Port Dickson voters throughout the campaign period.
“This is not a promise of the moon and stars, but this is the request and hope of the people of Port Dickson,” he said at a press conference to launch the Port Dickson Prosperity Planning at the Port Dickson Divisional UMNO Headquarters on Friday.
Also present, UMNO Port Dickson Division Chief, Datuk Mohd. Faizal Ramli, Port Dickson Divisional MIC Chief, Datuk M Veloo and Port Dickson Divisional MCA Chief, Datuk Seri King Lim.
According to him, unlike Pakatan Harapan (PH), BN has never broken promises made during the election.
He explained that he will create an implementation and delivery unit (PADU) to ensure that all the promises offered in this plan can be implemented as soon as they are given the mandate.
“Many of the proposals put forward by PH cannot be implemented, for example the abolition of the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN).
“I hope the people will not once again be trapped by their sweet promises,” he explained.
Among BN’s offers to voters in Port Dickson are the creation of a Youth Port, PD Kerja, Seapreneur Belia, upgrading the facilities of the Teluk Kemang Sports Complex and unearthing potential futures in e-sports.
In addition, BN offers PD Entrepreneurship initiative, provision of women’s hygiene kits, welfare of the disabled (OKU) and Orang Asli, PD TVET Bootcamp, One Family One Graduate Policy, construction of a boarding school or Mara science junior college (MRSM), PD Niaga as well as the construction of a jetty connecting Port Dickson and Dumai Port in Sumatra.
