Parliament hangs as FBM KLCI futures trade low

CONTRACT FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI (FBM KLCI) futures on Bursa Malaysia Derivatives traded lower in the early trading session today.

At 9.33am, the November 2022 and December 2022 contracts lost 19.5 points to hit 1,430.0 and 1,430.5 respectively, while March 2023 fell 23.0 points to 1,420.0 and June 2023 dropped 28 points to 1,415.0.

The trading volume was 4,027 lots, while the open interest was 36,921 contracts.

After 35 minutes of trading, the benchmark FBM KLCI fell by 14.87 points to 1,434.45 compared to Thursday’s close of 1,449.32.

Local markets are closed on Friday (November 18) in conjunction with the general election. – Named
