Shahril Hamdan’s first task is to help five assemblymen if he wins GE15

ALOR GAJAH: Helping the five members of the State Legislative Assembly (ADUN) in the Alor Gajah Parliament to solve the problems of the residents will be the priority of the Barisan Nasional (BN) candidate in the seat, Shahril Sufian Hamdan, if he gets a mandate in the 15th General Election (GE15).

Shahril said, it is the first thing he will do by helping all assemblymen in Asahan, Gadek, Durian Tunggal, Rembia and Machap Jaya.

He said that among the main things related to the people’s needs are repairing mosques and suraus, upgrading the drainage system which is the cause of floods and several other problems.

“If I get the trust of the 93,000 voters in Alor Gajah, my priority for the first two months will be to help all the assemblymen here.

“I see this as an urgent need that should be prioritized behind the 13 points in the manifesto that I am offering within a period of five years.

“I need to help all these assemblymen, especially to get approval for allocations, this is what is being voiced, a very important need to help the people,” he said after launching a manifesto containing 13 offers at the Alor Gajah Division UMNO Office in Selandar here today.

Earlier, Utusan Malaysia reported that Shahril set five key performance indicators (KPI) as a manifesto to enable the public to evaluate his performance as a representative of the people, if he gets a mandate in GE15.

The UMNO Youth Vice Leader said the five KPIs can be measured in six months, one year, four years and five years.

Shahril added that everything contained in the manifesto was the result of discussions with all BN components and assemblymen in the area.

“I also observe the needs of the people so this manifesto needs to be presented after the manifesto for BN’s Charity Planning and Efforts for Malaysia (Padu) is launched at the central level. It is in line with Padu’s goals and aspirations,” he explained. – MESSENGER
