SHAH ALAM – Pakatan Harapan (PH) Chairman, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim expressed his gratitude to the people who continue to patiently await the ‘end’ of the formation of the new government and the appointment of the 10th Prime Minister.
The President of the People’s Justice Party (PKR) explained that he really understands the ‘complaints’ that the people are experiencing at the moment.
“Thank you Malaysians who continue to wait patiently. I know everyone and all sides love this country and want the best.
“Keep praying for a better Malaysia,” he said in a post on his Facebook on Tuesday.
Through the same message, Anwar, who is also a Member of Parliament for Tambun, also expressed his appreciation for all media personnel.
“The award also goes to the media friends who are faithfully waiting to provide comprehensive and balanced coverage,” he said.
The crisis in the establishment of the Federal government and the appointment of the Prime Minister entered the third day on Tuesday, seeing that there is still no coalition of parties getting a simple majority.
Although PH and Perikatan Nasional (PN) each previously expressed confidence in gaining sufficient support, but the decision of the Barisan Nasional (BN) Supreme Council Meeting involving the main leadership of the coalition at Menara Dato’ Onn, World Trade Center (WTC) on Tuesday morning answered everything.
BN, which is seen as the ‘king maker’, decided to remain in opposition and not support any coalition to form the government, thus making it difficult for PH and PN to achieve a simple majority of 112 members of the Dewan Rakyat.
