According to a marriage licence from Clark County, Nevada, superstar celebrity couple Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were wed on Saturday.

The couple's marriage was revealed by Lopez on Sunday in her fan email under the heading "We did it."

According to Lopez, the pair arrived in Las Vegas on Saturday, lined up with four other couples for their licence, and were married in the Little White Chapel shortly after midnight.

Early in the 2000s, the couple started dating and was engaged. After splitting up and spending 17 years apart, they renewed their romance last year.

According to Vulture, Lopez and Affleck originally connected on the set of "Gigli" in 2002.

Lopez has previously been married three times. She had brief unions with Cris Judd from 2001 to 2003 and with Ojani Noa from 1997 to 1998

After getting married in 2004, she and singer Marc Anthony were wed for ten years and have twins who are now 14 years old.

Together with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner, the Oscar winner Ben is the father of a boy and two girls, Seraphina, 13, and Violet, 16.
